Choose any Entre Pizza to pair with a Cup of Soup, Bowl of Fruit, Bowl of Pasta Salad, Bowl of Potato Salad, Half Mac & Cheese or Half Classic Salad. As a last resort I tried adding some cherry fruit juice I had in the fridge and then…Īhhhhhhhh!!! If Toucan Sam was a boozer, this would be his drink of choice. It didn’t taste at all like Fruit Loops and had that nasty cheap vodka burn. WHY do things smell so good and then taste like CRAP?! Coffee, smelly markers, Loopy vodka. I poured a shot of vodka and a splash of cream into my cocktail shaker with some ice, gave it a quick shake and then went in for the taste test. Mix the vodka with some of the heavy cream I have left from yesterday’s chocolate mousse cake and I should have a drink that tastes just like the leftover milk from a bowl of Fruit Loops. ![]() This is going to be so easy, I thought to myself. I cracked it open and the smell of one of my favorite kiddie cereals wafted out. ![]() It’s a rainy day today – perfect for staying in an experimenting with my pretty bottle of vodka. Vodka that tastes like Fruit Loops?! Gimmie, gimmie!!! I was wandering up and down the vodka aisle at the liquor store while my boyfriend changed his mind for the millionth time about what beer he was going to buy and there it was – purple cap, blue, yellow, orange, pink and purple rings and that name – Loopy. The most recent thing to catch my eye was Three Olives Loopy. Slap some colorful artwork or something shiny on a product and I am drawn to it like a kid with ADD. This is certainly one of those “you’ve got to try this” experiences, and the fact that these exist and sell well is a commentary on the state of modern alcohol consumption, though I’m not sure what to make of it or what to conclude.Īll three of these vodkas had very interesting flavors and there’s room for creativity in how to use these flavors in cocktails, but I imagine these will mostly be consumed with a very simple mixer, like “PB&J and Soda,” or “S’mores and Coke,” or something like that.I am a marketing major’s dream. The flavor of S’mores was also the most subtle of the three. I think that S’mores would be the most flexible permanent addition to a home bar as it could be used in White Russians and other cocktails featuring coffee or chocolate. Loopy in particular tasted so much like a boozy version of it’s cereal brother, it was scary. This was an interesting experience, and the flavors were surprisingly accurate. From left to right, these are pictured below: LOOPY Vodka Review ThreeOlivesLets see what Tea Bag Rating I gave THREE OLIVES Loopy. I made some simple cocktails with them, some recommended by the manufacturers. At first whiff, every single one of these smells exactly as the labels suggest they would. Three Olives brand is about $20 a bottle retail, and Van Gogh is priced slightly higher. With the help of Loopy Vodka, you can indulge in a way that is both tasty and fun. When it comes to the perfect adult beverage, vodka is the epitome of class and drink building. I tried three flavors of vodkas: Van Gogh PB&J (peanut butter and jelly), Three Olives S’mores, and Three Olives Loopy (Fruit Loops). And if you happen to be a fan of Fruit Loops, then you won’t want to miss Three Olives’ Loopy Vodka. I will admit that I can have a snobby attitude about some vodkas, particularly the strange new flavored ones that have appeared in the stores recently, going way beyond fruit flavors to marshmallow or whipped cream vodkas! These flavored vodkas have begun to outsell nearly everything in the liquor stores, so it seems appropriate to at least give them a try. ![]()
