She never once apologized for the inconvenience or the mistakes. She sarcastically said "thanks for being so understanding" as she stomped off into the restaurant. Even if we had been far more upset and rude, we were still paying customers, and even if 'the customer ISN'T always right', a waitress should not treat their customers this way. And she began arguing with us about how long the food took, and our experience. We had asked her what was going on and to fix this, and said that this was screwed up. She immediately became rude, snotty and condescending. So we were a bit upset, as you might expect, and asked the waitress to please fix this. I read the ticket, and they had charged us for an entire other table's meal. We had ordered 4 tacos, chips and small portions of salsa (which you have to pay for here), and a couple of drinks during happy hour. I glanced at it, it said the total was $58.92. If that wasn't enough, when we got our boxes, the waitress also dropped off our ticket. They are about as good as our local La Campechana taco truck in Laporte, and twice the price. The tacos were large, and tasty, but more expensive than they are worth. The margaritas were very watered down, there seemed to be very little if any tequila in them. Our food came out about 50 minutes after we had finally been able to order, while other parties had come and gone and gotten all their food and drinks. We were a bit upset, but still understanding at this point. She said that our food would be out shortly. Then she came out finally and told us that they had a new waitress and that they had taken our food to the wrong table. We waited for approximately 40 minutes for our food without any check-ins (Keeping in mind that they were not very busy, this was a long time for our food). My dad finally, after 15 minutes, got up and went to ask her to take our order. We tried waving her down to get our order, but she intentionally avoided eye contact and walked RIGHT past us 10 times. The waitress rushed us a few times in the beginning, and upon realizing that we were taking a few minutes to decide, she ignored us when we were finally ready to order. We took a while to read over the menu, considering that we'd never been here. So we got the last little tiny table outside. We asked a couple of nice people how they liked it, they said it was great. My dad and I thought we would try this restaurant as a treat to ourselves after a long day. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would. We arrived put our name on the list party of 2 with a possible 3rd, when it was our turn we told our waitress our 3rd person didn’t show so it was just going to be just us two. Don’t go here, if you believe in racial equality and fair treatment of all! they treated my son and I so poorly, I left feeling confused & embarrassed since we were berated in front of a restaurant full of people.
